Peter Bochnovich was recently
promoted to the position of
executive vice president at The
Dime Bank . Mr. Bochnovich has
been working in the banking
industry for 35 years and, in
his new role, is responsible
for the entire lending function
of The Dime Bank, including
the commercial loan division,
the residential mortgage
department and the consumer
lending area.
Deborah L. Unflat , vice
president of marketing at The
Dime Bank , recently graduated
from the 2017-2018 PA Bankers
Leadership Institute. Ms. Unflat
has been with The Dime Bank
for almost 20 years. In her
current role, Ms. Unflat oversees
the development, management
and implementation of
marketing programs and
materials to support the
organization’s strategic plans
and objectives.
Jeff O’Malia has
recently joined the
sales team at DGK
Insurance and
Financial Services .
Mr. O’Malia is a
graduate of Villanova
University and began
his career with
Prudential Financial.
He brings more
than 25 years of experience to DGK in the areas of
property and casualty insurance, group benefits
and retirement plan sales/administration, as well as
business and individual life insurance.
Mike Powers recently joined
Gunn-Mowery LLC as an
office assistant. Mr. Powers’
most recent position was as
executive project manager
with IBM Corporation,
where he worked for 34
years. He holds a business
degree from Niagara
University, an MBA from
Kutztown University
and recently joined the
professional faculty at
Harrisburg University.
David Phang, M.D.,
has joined Geisinger
Community Medical
Center as a vascular
surgeon. Dr. Phang
earned his medical
degree from West
Virginia University
School of Medicine and
completed a vascular
surgery residency at the
University of Cincinnati
Medical Center. Dr.
Phang has contributed
to a variety of medical journals and publications, as
well as presented multiple scholarly lectures.
Jaewon Ryu, M.D., J.D., has
been named interim president
and chief executive officer of
Geisinger . Dr. Ryu earned his
undergraduate degree from
Yale University and his medical
and law degrees from The
University of Chicago, and
completed his internship and
residency training in emergency
medicine at Harbor-UCLA
Medical Center.
