LBP MANUFACTURING TO BRING 74 NEW JOBS TO LACKAWANNA COUNTY
LBP Manufacturing LLC , a manufacturer of fiber and resin-based food service packaging , will lease a facility in Lackawanna County .
“ LBP Manufacturing had considered establishing its new facility in a handful of states in the eastern part of the country , but ultimately chose Pennsylvania as the best place to locate and grow its business ss ,” said Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf . “ Our prime location – with strong transportation logistics advantages – and our talented and dedicated workforce were both key factors in attracti
ting the company . I commend LBP on its decision to make Pennsy ylvania its home.” renovations , leasehold improvement ements , and the procurement of new machinery and equipment . LBP has committed mitt to the creation of 74 new , full-time jobs over the next three years . The majority of new employees will be hired in February and March 2017 , although some hiring has already commenced .
