The “ granddaddy ” of all Chamber events – the Annual Dinner – will be held on Wednesday , March 29 , at the Scranton Cultural Center . This year ’ s dinner features Jon Dorenbos , long snapper for the Philadelphia Eagles and a finalist on “ America ’ s Got Talent .” We ’ ve moved the dinner up a few months from its usual spot on the calendar to avoid competing with other year-end banquets , recitals , graduations , etc .
The NEPA Women ’ s Leadership Conference , another of our signature events , is set for Thursday , April 20 , at Mohegan Sun Pocono . Now in its third year , the conference hosts nationally-recognized speakers and offers a vendor area where guests can discover the wide array of goods and services available from local businesses .
The Chamber has numerous events scheduled over the next few months , many of which are free . There are traditional opportunities , like our business card exchanges , but you can also interact with your peers through our new events , like our Ski Club and the Chamber Lunch Escape .
