MEMBER NEWS FNCB recently announced the appointment of two new staff members. John Strellish, Senior Vice President, Commercial Officer, will be responsible for managing a commercial loan portfolio, underwriting new credit requests as well as sales and service of new and existing relationships. The Dime Bank recently promoted Bryan G. Rupp to the position of Vice President, Credit Analysis Manager, and Robert F. Karoscik to Assistant Vice President, Carbondale Branch Manager. Mr. Strellish brings more than 30 years of commercial relationship management expertise to FNCB Bank. Most recently, he served as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for BB&T Bank. Jessica Capwell, Assistant Vice President, Residential Mortgage Manager, will be responsible for management, direction, and development of the residential mortgage underwriting, processing and compliance function of the Bank. Ms. Capwell brings more than 10 years of loan management experience to FNCB Bank. Most recently, she served as Regional Service Manager for Pentagon/Valor Federal Credit Union. Mr. Rupp is responsible for performing various duties to manage The Dime Bank’s credit analysis function by coordinating work within the department to analyze data, prepare loan presentation forms, and provide documentation of all financial analysis work, including ratios, risk rating and other related information. Lawrence Crimi has joined Fidelity Bank as Vice President, Trust & Investment Relationship Manager. Mr. Crimi comes to Fidelity Bank with a long-standing and successful career in banking, providing high net worth clients with wealth management solutions. Mr. Crimi has amassed almost 50 years of banking experience with proven leadership in all aspects of the banking industry. Throughout his career, he has served multiple financial entities as Business Relationship Manager, Managing Director and Wealth Management, as well as working in private banking and other areas of business development. In his new role, he will serve as a financial advisor managing personal and business finances for Fidelity Bank clients and providing them with opportunities for wealth management, savings and investments. 10 • The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce Numan Fateh, M.D., has joined Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC)’s Cancer Center as a hematologist/ oncologist. Fellowship trained in hematology/oncology to diagnose and treat a variety of cancers, Dr. Fateh sees patients with tumors including bladder, breast, brain, colorectal, lung, pancreatic and kidneys, leukemia, lymphoma, iron deficiency anemia, hemochromatosis, myelodysplastic syndrome and multiple myeloma, along with other hematology and oncology diseases. Mr. Karoscik leads The Dime Bank Carbondale branch team to provide customers and area residents with expert financial advice in a sound, trusted, dependable manner. He is responsible for developing and maintaining residential and commercial customer relationships. He also oversees the branch operation.
