Five Recognized for
25 Years at HNB
Five employees, each with 25 years of service, were
recently recognized by The Honesdale National Bank.
The employees are Vicky Bryant, Roger Dirlam, Rebecca
Gotthardt, Paul Meagher and Linda Miller.
FNCB Bank Opens New Branch
FNCB Bank recently celebrated the official grand opening of
its new full-service community office at 1150 Route 315, Plains
Township. The new branch is located next to Dunkin Donuts in
the Richland 315 Complex.

PennDOT’s Highest Honor
Goes to District 4
Steve Fisher, a planning specialist from PennDOT District
4, recently received the Star of Excellence Award, which
is PennDOT’s highest recognition. Mr. Fisher oversees the
coordination of the regional MPO/RPO Twelve Year Programs
for District 4. His extensive planning experience has enabled
him to implement the PennDOT Connects Program initiative
across the district.
Lackawanna College receives
grant to Support Adult Literacy
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation has awarded
Lackawanna College an $8,000 grant to support adult
literacy. This local grant award is part of more than $8.3
million in grants awarded to more than 1,000 schools, non-
profits and organizations across the 44 states that Dollar
General serves.
