A Recipe From Jane McFaddin Cooking Corner Big & Hearty Casserole Ingredients • 1 lb. lean ground beef (I use ground sirloin) • ¼ t garlic salt • Salt and pepper to taste • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce • 1 (8 oz) package wide egg noodles, uncooked • ¾ C sour cream • 1 C small curd cottage cheese • ½ C green onions, finely chopped • 1 C sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 201 Enterprise Ave, #625 League City, TX 77573 832-871-4448 Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees Cook egg noodles following directions on package. Rinse noodles in cold water and drain. While noodles are cooking, brown ground beef and add garlic salt and salt and pepper. Drain meat, then add tomato sauce and let simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. In another bowl, mix sour cream, cottage cheese and green onions together. add salt and pepper if desired.
