Kindergarten in Battipaglia Salerno

In Italy we met the PERSONA DOLLS methodology with the Erasmus plus project "Every child is special"

We bought 6 dolls in South Africa and another 2 dolls we have done in school.

The dolls were introduced in the various sections of the infant school. They played an important role in helping the teachers to solve problems that were created in the classroom.

Each doll profile reflecte some discomfort shown by children during the lesson.

Maria - physical discomfort

Mohamed = hyperactivity

Assad = food discomfort

Teresa = not sociability

Sarin = race difference

Roberta = autism

Children who showed bad habits improved their relationship with their peers and accepted the differences.

Now The children play together and do the activities without crying and with enthusiasm. Parents also showed interest in the results achieved in the classes.

Children, teachers and parents have collected much information on the cultural, social and environmental differences of different nations.

The doll Persona dolls is considered in the group of class as a child ver, therefore the children have accepted its presence without problems ..

The Persona dolls methodology is very useful to help deal with important inclusion problems.

In the school of Battipaglia there are 18 classes of asylum, the teachers take turns to use the doll to help children in need.
