not  alternaGve  enough.     “Also   with   being   alternaGve,   there   are   so   many   different   types   of   alternaGve   modeling,”   she   explained.   “There's   pin-­‐up   and   feGsh   as   well   as   many  other  styles.  I  o:en  get  told  that  I   do   not   have   enough   tamoos   to   be   desirable  enough  to  work  with.”     In   some   cases,   she   has   been   told   that   she   would   have   to   alter   her   appearance  to  be  accepted.    “I  even  got  told  by  a  magazine   we     like   to   have   our   ladies   with   a   bit   more   ink,   so   if   you're   willing   to   get   some   more   tamoos   we   will   publish   you”.     I n s t e a d   o f   b e c o m i n g   discouraged,   Rosie   found   (or   actually,   created)   a   silver   lining   around   the   alternaGve   model   cloud   by   creaGng   B e l r o s e   D e s i g n s   M a g a z i n e   –   a   publicaGon   lending   a   voice   and   face   to   alternaGve  models.     “I   originally   started   Belrose   Designs  Magazine  (BD  Mag),  when  I  was   making  jewelry  to  showcase  what  I  had   made,”   she   said.   “I   started   geung   so   many   models   submiung   that   this   pushed  the  jewelry  to  the  side.”     The   magazine,   which   has   become   a   labor   of   love,   is   her   main   priority  at  this  p
