Wonderland  Fun  –     Alice  in  Wonderland  revisited  through  the  lens   Photos  ©  Rusty  Yonkers/OneWithTheCamera   Story  by  Brian  Thornton   A   Wonderland   Life:   Alice   in   Wonderland   photo   shoot   models,   from   back   lel,   Jake   Eht   Idej,   Angela   Pearl   (organizer),     Paul   Schneider,   Derrick   Zarowski,   and   front,   center,   Taryn   Allysa   playfully   get   into   character.   Photo   ©   Rusty   Yonkers/One   With   The   Camera     What   happens   when   a   group   of   talented   models,   a   talented   photographer,   and   a   passionate   store   owner   are   placed   at  the  mercy  of  Portage,  MI    Angela   Pearl’s  creaJvity?  Wonderful  things.     “   I   have   always   had   a   f a s c i n a J o n   w i t h   A l i c e   i n   Wonderland  ever  since  I  was  child,”   Angela   said   of   her   recent   Alice   in   Wonderland   themed   tea   party   photo   shoot.   “I   always   dreamed   of   one   day   being   able   to   recreate   and   put   my   own   spin   on   this   magical   w o r l d   w h e r e   a n y t h i n g   a n d   everything  was  possible.”    One  day,  while  talking  with   m y   g o o d   f r i e n d   a n d   f e l l o w   Wonderland   enthusiast,   Mandy   (Model   Mandy   Ulishney/Flint,   MI)   ,   I   came   upon   the   idea   of   finally   giving   this   wonderfully,   whimsical   fairytale   land   a   new   life…with   a   Modern Model Page 24 major  twist,  Angela  said.     Aler   receiving   overwhelming   response   from   a   Facebook   post   calling   for   interest,   Angela   and   Mandy   began   planning   their   first   A l i c e   i n   W o n d e r l a n d   e v e n t ,   recruiJng   photographer   Rusty   Yonkers,  she  said.     “Aler   talking   with   him,   and   gefng   some   well   needed   advice   from   a   photographers   perspecJve,   he   too,   decided   to   join   in   on   the   main   creaJve   planning   part   of   this   idea,”  Angela  explained,  adding  that   a   poll   led   to   the   Madd   Haaer’s   Tea   Party  as  their  first  event  theme.     “I   took   it   upon   myself   to   start   looking   for   models,   photographers,   hair   and   makeup   arJsts,   prop/set   designers,   wardrobe   designers,   and   various   other   interested   creaJve   minds,”     Angela   said,   adding   that   the  decision  was  made  to    focus  on   a   single   concept   for   each   event   to   keep  it  producJve  and  manageable.     “As   a   collaboraJve   type   s
