Hats  off  to  PaKy  Lewis   Story  by  Brian  Thornton            Photos  ©  G.  Gregory  Gieger   Wardrobe”  Studio  95  Photographix  and  Hat  Palace  –  Milford,  BT    If  I  have  the  chance  to   visit  ConnecOcut,  it  might  be  to   visit   the   MysOc   Seaport,   but   it   will   more   likely   be   for   the   chance   to   work   with   Model   PaKy   Lewis.   Maybe   I   can   combine   the   two   ideas,   and   photograph  Model  PaKy  Lewis   at  the  MysOc  Seaport.  Nice.     For   models   that   are   taking   advice   from   friends   who   have   never   modeled,   or   photographers   who   have   experience   behind   the   camera,   but   have   never   been   credited   for   placing   models   with   agencies,  I  hope  that  you  read   this  arOcle  carefully.     If   you   are   working   to   gain  the  aKenOon  of  an  agent,   agency,   or   publicaOon,   the   most   important   step   is   to   research   the   agent   to   find   out   what  they  are  looking  for,  and   find  out  what  they  want.     In   some   cases,   what   they   want   is   clearly   spelled   out   in   their   submission   guidelines.   In   other   cases,   what   they   are   looking   for   might   be   obvious.     If   you   noOce   that,   in   the   past   12   publicaOons,   the   cover   models   have   all   been   blondes,   it   may   be   Ome   to   visit   the   Marilyn   Monroe   fashion   shop.    It  is  also  best  to  go  to   the   source.   SomeOmes   a   simple   query,   such   as,   “since   we   are   heading   into   fall,   I   will   be  submiqng  some  fall  fashion   photos   taken   at   the   MysOc   Seaport.”     This   type   of   query,   which   is   more   of   a   heads   up,   does   two   things.   First,   it   does   Modern Model Page 31 not   ask   a   quesOon.   Many   models   submit   a   quesOons,   such   as,   “Would
