dreams,   reminding   me   of   Michigan   Models   Alisha   Gilman   and   Lucilla   Elena.     Entering   2015,   both   Alisa   and   Lucilla   showed   that   they   are   prepared  to  take  their  modeling  careers  to  the  next  level,  reaching  more   towards  paid  modeling  assignments  than  trade  for  print  modeling  work,   wince  both  have  rock-‐solid  porsolios  that  show  a  wide  range  of  modeling   skill  and  talent.     Many   models   will   find   that   moving   into   paid   modeling   work   is   a   difficult   transiOon.   Photographers   that   are   more   than   willing   to   trade   Ome  seem  to  be  offended  by  the  concept  of  paying  models,  with  Lucilla   recently   challenged   by   a   photographer,   who   said   he   does   not   know   of   ANY  photographers  that  pay  models.      Finding  paid  model  assignments,  some  will  find,  is  like   fishing.  SomeOmes  plenOful,  someOmes  hard  to  find,  but  always  a  maKer   of  skill  and  paOence,  more  than  luck.    Lucilla  brings  a  level  of  drive  and  determinaOon  to  the  table  that   is  rare  for  any  industry.  Taking  the  Ome  to  mentor  other  youth  models,   Lucilla   stands   by   her   established   categories,   and   encourages   other   models  to  not  always  keep  sight  of  their  goals.     Alisha   brings   unparalleled   charm,   poise,   posing   ability,   and   confidence.  She  is  a  master  of  effortlessly  making  complicated  poses  look   natural.   Together,   or   separately,   they   are   both   forces   of   nature   to   be   reckoned  with  in  the  modeling  world.   Modern Model Page 15 Model:  Alisha  Gilman/Photo  ©  Brian  Thornton
