10. Do you provide services throughout Australia and New Zealand? Yes. We work in all the main cities and regional centres as best suits our client’s needs. We have also worked for clients in the UK and Europe, South East Asia and the Pacific region. 11. Do you have any plans for overseas expansion? Yes definitely, particularly for Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. We have both travelled extensively and want to combine this with our business well into the future. As part of positioning Catalyst Pacific Ltd in the cross-cultural space, we wanted to be part of a global network with other inter-cultural experts. We have done this, meeting our now global intercultural expert colleagues based in Finland, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. We are able to combine forces and share their expertise for specific international projects. We have worked in the Pacific and advised clients on working as mentors in the Pacific. We want to do more of this at home and further afield through our international networks and other connections. 12. What would you say to someone looking to educate their franchise teams and other employees in cross-cultural awareness and what advice would you give them? It is great that they are being proactive and forward-looking. Australia and New Zealand have an increasingly culturally diverse workforce, clientele and business partners (which obviously includes franchisees). It is important that the provider they contract uses proven research-based cross-cultural communications, learning and development tools.
