What was the driving force behind your decision to specialise in the cross cultural awareness aspect of Business? It’s who we are as people. We are a crosscultural couple, family and business. For us, it was a logical extension into the business arena, our key point of difference and an area of potential growth. Equally important for us is that it is work with a ‘good’ societal purpose. Cultural diversity is a feature of Australian and New Zealand society and an integral part of all work teams. Relating effectively with people is a key aspect of any Business. We could see that with an increasingly multicultural workforce, for businesses to get best from their people and benefit from a deeper level of staff and franchisee engagement, they needed to consciously develop effective cross-cultural communications as an essential leadership and team building skill. We have the experience and expertise to help them. 3. What types of customers do you help? What experience do you have helping franchises?
