I’m Hellen Nitchske and I am a fashion
designer. My passion has always been
design and I have been dedicated to my
art for some time now. I am currently
based out of San Diego CA but hope to
be on my way to the big cities. My constant inspiration has been the ocean,
beach and its culture around the world.
This can surely be seen in my signature
designs and continues to be my driving
force. I was born and raised in Curitiba,
Brazil and like most Brazilians lived and
spent every second at the beach.
I have been mastering my skill since the
tender age of eleven. My first teacher
and supporter was my mother who encouraged me to start sewing and attending art classes. I then attend a high
school in Brazil that focused on design.
There I learned everything about graphics and product design including real
scale projects. I completed my education with a college degree in fine arts.
In 2008 I came to live in San Diego and
continued my education. I attended and
graduated from Fashion Careers College in the spring of 2011 and the progression of my careers has been a
blessing. I’m extremely proud to have
had my designs featured in San Diego
Magazine and Good Morning San Diego. I have also been invited countless
times to the Art and Fashion Event at
Timken Museum, Balboa Park where
my designs have been beautifully dis-
