JUNGE
JNG
Summary
New styles, new materials and new colours. Danish Junge
A/S is looking forward to announcing its latest products for
the AW 19/20 season during the fashion week in Copenhagen.
With more than 70 years of experience, the Danish women's
outerwear specialist has seen massive growth in recent years
in both existing and new markets.
- A large part of a successful collection comes from the ability
to spot the right fabrics and know the best factories in the
market that can live up to our quality requirements, says CEO
Christian Junge, second-generation in the company, which was
founded by his father, Bent Junge.
From the humble beginnings in Denmark, the company now
has a Nordic focus mixed with global inspiration. The company
uses Italian wool, fabrics from Korea and zippers from Japan.
- In the new collection, functional details include 100% wind
and waterproof and breathable materials. And we never com-
promise on the feminine design. This way, we are an alterna-
tive to the sporty version of functional outerwear so you can
JNG
dress smart and functional at the same time, says Christian
Junge.
In the new collection, Junge focuses its attention on wool:
- We have found new and beautiful types of wool. Wool is be-
coming increasingly popular. It is dependent on the weather,
of course; wool is comfortable during relatively dry Autumn
seasons and helps you keep warm in cold winters, says Chri-
stian Junge.
Also, the ever-popular down jacket is reappearing in new ver-
sions in a far more smooth and non-quilted and seamless look.
Junge is also looking forward to presenting other new produ-
cts in faux sheepskin with 10% wool.
