Article five brands - one supplier The Danish fashion company Pardon Clothing supplies fashion stores with five individual brands. BY HELLE MATHIESEN Since the acquisition of the three brands Sempre più, CHALOU and aprico in 2017, the Danish fashion company Pardon Clothing has spent time on optimizing the business and on developing the indivi- dual brands to complement each other in the best way. The brands are produced in sizes 38-58/60. All back office functions are managed at Pardon Clothing in Den- mark – and so is the design of the Pont Neuf, Choise and aprico col- lections. Sempre più and CHALOU are still designed in Germany. The Pardon Clothing office in Neunkirchen is placed close to the French border - this is also where the former owner originally was situated. - Each brand has a unique style, and therefore it is possible for most retailers to carry several of our brands. We make it easy for the fa- shion stores because they only have to deal with one supplier alt- PONT NEUF hough they carry for instance five of our brands. This is much more manageable than working with five different companies, says Claus Bentzen. Expansion in north and south - The acquisition has allready resulted in the fact that Germany is now by far our largest market, and Holland and Belgium are also growing markets, says Claus Bentzen. Pardon Clothing's thorough knowledge of the Scandinavian market and, aprico’s, Sempre più’s and CHALOU’s international know-how mean that all brands benefit from the new set-up. - It is a win-win situation and we are looking forward to futher ex- pansion internationally, states the CEO for a final remark.
