At LIND DNA , the ambition is to develop , produce and market modern and Danish-designed interior products in the highest quality . Within five years , the company has realized the vision of becoming a unique and sustainable design company with own production in Aarhus , Denmark . Particularly recycled leather - originally and primarily used in the core product The Original Table Mat - has become the brand signature of the company and is used for many of LIND DNA ’ s products .

“ Hygge ” for the dining table The Table Mat is available in several different sizes , a variety of different colours and a large selection of surfaces . It is shaped in the company ’ s design protected organic CURVE form . This uniquely shaped product was the very first design from LIND DNA and thus marks the beginning of the organization ’ s history : - I had already been working with recycled leather and had initially designed a mouse pad in the unique CURVE shape . Then , one day , when I accidentally turned the mouse pad upside down , I got the idea for a modern and sustainable table mat , that would be able to provide a bit of Danish “ hygge ” to the dining table ”, says the company ś owner , Preben Lind . The idea behind it all is to provide that extra bit of “ hygge ” and fine finish for the table setting .

LIND DNA
Recycled leather The collection is made from recycled leather , in Aarhus , Denmark . In the process , LIND DNA only uses the highest quality of vegetable-tanned hard leather from e . g . furniture and fashion accessories production . The finished material consists of 80 percent hard leather and 20 percent natural rubber . This combination results in the luxuriously soft and sustainable material , which then is dyed and decorated with beautiful surface structures and patterns .
Continuously developed - The whole product range is continuously being developed , always with the ambition to stay the world ś leading manufacturer with the widest range of Table Mats in recycled leather . Some of the latest seasonal news is interesting embossments and contemporary colour combinations of The Original Table Mat collection , says Preben Lind . The two latest designs are called Hippo anthracite-grey and white-grey , both of which are very soft in colours , giving your table and your entire home a trendy look . LIND DNA has also created a Lacce series , which adds an elegant and rustic look to the home , with its sophisticated embossing in black and brown . Professional buyers can meet LIND DNA at the international trade fairs Formex in Stockholm and Maison & Objets in Paris .
