Once again , Koustrup & Co . draws inspiration from Nordic nature . Stunning Christmas glass cones and creative DIY cone-shaped cardboard wrapping are among the new items for the Christmas season .

The Danish design company Koustrup & Co . is a supplier of beautiful design with built-in educational features on nature . The topics are , for instance , plants , animals , gastronomy and organic living . For Christmas 2018 , Koustrup & Co finds inspiration in mushrooms and cones . The motifs are printed onto dishtowels and beautiful three-dimensional Christmas glass baubles . The cones have inspired the print on the A3 cardboard sheets that consumers can cut and paste into Christmas tree cones with a personal touch . The pre-glued cones are easy to paste together . - This way , we can cater to consumers who love to create beautiful and hand-crafted ornaments , but who may not have the necessary creative skills or time to make the cones from scratch , says Katrine Koustrup , head of design and production . Together with her sister and brother-in-law – Lise Marie and Christian Abildgaard – she is a part of the family-owned company . The parents – husband and wife Ulla and Søren Koustrup – had originally retired from the publishing industry , but they could not let go of the shared love for books
