Summary
Skovhuus Strik is a popular supplier of quali-
ty knits for fashion-conscious women. Now,
the company takes a new turn and launches
a part of the collection under the name Orga-
nic Cotton by Skovhuus. The about 12 items
in the new line are made from GOTS certified
organic cotton yarn. GOTS is short for Global
Organic Textile Standard. It is an interna-
tional standard for textiles made from orga-
nic materials that respect the environment
and the working conditions it is produced
under.
- The design is timeless and focuses on well-
known styles and well-tried fits that sell
well. We are introducing about 15 colours
and a brand-new Jacquard pattern in the
new line, which is made from organic cotton,
designer Jette Lindegaard explains.
- Organic Cotton by Skovhuus is a small, ex-
clusive part of Skovhuus’ wide collection,
and we expect that the new line can contri-
bute with increased sales among existing
retailers. We also have high hopes that the
new line will do well among new retailers,
