Q | Please describe Nanso Casual for
Spring/Summer 2017?
A | We have continued the renewing
process that we started at AW16 collection. The spring 2017 collection honours
Nanso’s core expertise in jersey and the
prints also play an important role in that.
The collection is focused on co-ordinated
outfits, where jersey items are combined
with classic jeans, woven shirts and scarfs.
The collection is complemented by a dash
of bolder patterns and trendy shapes that
have been created in collaboration with
designer Sophie Sälekari.

Leisure line?
A | Our focus is to make the Nanso Casual
collection more versatile. Nanso is a jer-
terns, but with the spring 2017 collection,
we will again take a step towards harmony
and Scandinavian style. I have selected the
versatile and yet balanced selection.
There are both quiet, small size tone to
vivid prints. For Nanso prints I continue to
work with several Finnish print designers.
Spring 2017 collection consists prints by
Reeta Ek, Tanja Valta, Teija Puranen and
Jenni Tuominen.
The unified colour scheme of the collection
balances the concept and creates a harmonious colour thinking throughout the sea-
son. The colour scheme of the spring 2017
collection exudes springtime freshness
with repeated shades of indigo blue and
coral-like orange, as well as neutral sha-
des of pale sand and light blue. The colour
scheme is accented by springtime shades of
intense orange and lemon yellow.
