Summary
Knits are only as good as the yarn you
use. Since it was founded in 1937, Quimo
Nordic has produced clothing according to
this principle. Today, the company is lead
by third generation, and the impressive,
accumulated know-how is applied in the
design of trendy collections and a unique
NOS concept.
- All of our knits are made with carefully
selected yarn and handled by people with
long-standing expertise, says Anne Hagelskjær, co-owner in Quimo Nordic.
The Danish company applies its many years
of experience to develop new washable and
dryable viscose fabrics with high yarn
weight and low peeling.
The most recent addition to the NOS concept is a new merino wool fabric.
- Our 100 percent fine merino wool is
made from long-fibred, soft-washed and
hard twisted merino wool, which makes
its surface soft and comfortable - even for
sensitive skin. The process also makes the
merino wool hard-wearing and practical since its machine-washable using the
machine’s wool cycle. It’s also 100 percent
organic, says Anne Hagelskjær, who is very
pleased with the success of the merino
wool.
