The Danish brand Desires presents
a new, laid-back collection steeped
in springtime, simplicity and joy.
The collection for Spring 16 shows
lots of "easy pieces" – simple, fussfree fashion, designed for easy
wearing.

As always, the Danish brand Desires is able
with an exciting pop of colour or vibrant,
graphic contrasts, while cool statements and
items – to a colourful look that goes all-out
Lots of white
White-on-white or white and indigo blue are
Fuss-free fashion
to offer several looks for the new season -
easy to swap between, from the simplest –
a light and summery style with lots of white
in patterns and motifs.
In the print effects, the design team have
played around with cool arrow patterns
inspired by tattoos and ancient drawings.
Outlines of the shapes found in large tropical leaves are used as another print motif,
while an entire colour story has been built
around green jungle shades along with wild
tropical flowers and plants.
Printed elements also include lots of zigzag
patterns, ethnic inspirations and various
stripe effects – often pepped up even more

exotic shades.
key combinations for Spring 16 – a typical
look is jeans, denim skirts and short denim
shorts teamed with white tops such as large,
lightweight shirt styles or T-shirts. One of the
key items here is a totally plain white blazer.
The white look may be given a dash of peach
and green. Black, grey and khaki also play an
important role in the new Desires collection
– these neutral shades can be teamed with
several of the fresh springtime colours, for
instance sorbet pink and mint green.
Black and white are guaranteed to give crisp,
graphic prints add a humorous touch.
New, exciting stonewash and burn out ef-
fects are found for instance in skirts and in
dresses with asymmetric cuts. Updated Alines, kimono style and cute tops are all part
of the new, summery style by Desires, while
fringes feature in several springtime items
and accessories as a sure-fire Boho detail.
Lots of girls love a laid-back, fuss-free fash-
ion style with a dash of 70's hippie elements
– ultimately twisting towards a more edgy,
rock chic-inspired look. And this is the style
that the new Desires collection for Spring
16 hits spot on.
