Loose-fitting silhouettes The A / W 2017 / 18 season features voluminous , slightly oversized silhouettes , which are a more loose-fitting than in the last couple of seasons . Trouser legs are wider and longer and jeans are more anti-fit . The season ’ s knits are large-sized , soft , chunky and cosy .
- The silhouette is often seamless with layer-on-layer styles such as several types of jackets with different lengths layered on top of one another . Altogether , the season features a bunch of characteristic reinterpretations of jackets in different materials . The long and seamless silhouettes especially stand out in dresses , which are moving away from the figure-hugging fit to a more or less baggy look .
