Provide a clear and understandable vision
of the learning target:
❑ Write targets that are conversational in tone.
❑ Extract the essence of the learning.
❑ Use “I can ____,” or “I know ____” statements.
❑ Consider the guiding questions you want students
to be able to answer.
❑ Invite students into the learning process.
