IS UNFORGIVENESS
KEEPING YOU SINGLE?
“I’ll never forgive you!”
“I hate you!”
“Don’t speak to me ever again!”
These are common phrases often spouted in the heat of an argument. They may
seem like simple phrases that people “just
say” without thinking, but they’re not.
The effects that they have on the speaker are not simple but detrimental and
long-lasting. There are negative emotions connected to these phrases such as
(but not limited to) anger, rage, bitterness
and unforgiveness.

How can these phrases of unforgiveness
(and similar ones) keep you single? Unforgiveness is one of the most long-lasting and
powerful of these negative emotions. It allows the speaker to have just cause for their
negative attitude and behavior. This affects
them in many ways such as: mentally, spiritually, socially, etc.
Probably the most unrecognizable effect
of unforgiveness is the inability to truly
