NIKKI: I think it’s important for all women to earn money independent of someone else’s company or corporation. It’s very empowering to recognize what you can build on your own, and it’s smart too. MMIA: How long did it take you to go From business idea to actually seeing income? NIKKI: I’m thankful to have kept my “morning job,” throughout the process of establishing and building my business and I suggest that to any woman who wants to become an entrepreneur. Using social media as a platform for your business is not only effective but it can be done without a huge financial investment. I’m going into my second year as an entrepreneur and I began seeing an income after about the first six months, enough to put back into the company to keep it running. MMIA: Do you ever regret your decision to become a full-time entrepreneur? NIKKI: I have no regrets but I will say being a full-time entrepreneur and also having full- time job means being fully committed to both and I’m not sure it’s some thing everyone can or would want to tackle. In my opinion there’s no such thing as being part-time entrepreneur, even if you have another primary job. If you’re doing it part-time it won’t succeed. MMIA: How do you balance th
