MMIA: Why did you decide to become an entrepreneur?
KE’AUNDRA: Because I hate people telling me what to do! I
knew at an early age that I wouldn’t work a regular job and that I
was destined for greatness. Once I started to believe in my talents
and gifts it was no stopping me.
MMIA: Do you ever regret your decision to become a full-time
entrepreneur?
KE’AUNDRA: No not at all! Even on my worst days I wouldn’t
trade it for the world because I’m in the position to do what I
love the most which also provides freedom in different forms in
addition to be able to touch the souls and minds of people in a
way that transforms their lives.
MMIA: How do you balance the roles of mommy and
entrepreneur?
KE’AUNDRA: I don’t, I believe Balance is B.S. I just put my
time where it’s needed most and what makes the most sense to
become successful in any portion of my life whether it’s family,
personal or business. You can’t do everything all at once and
something or someone will suffer as a result, I just choose wisely.
MMIA: How do your children feel about mommy being an
entrepreneur?
KE’AUNDRA: My daughter believes it’s the coolest thing
ever and aspires to become once as well. She enjoys the perks
of being with me all the time, me being available to attend her
extracurricular activities and being able to learn how to create
her own business. She’s a little hustler already.
MMIA: What would you say to the woman who’s reading this
right now and doubting her ability to succeed as an entrepreneur
mom?
KE’AUNDRA: JUST DO IT !!! T here will never be a right time
but one thing is for sure, you will be able to create the freedom to
enjoy both your family as well as your business which will afford
you the resources to run your household how you want to. Once
you make the decision to live in your purpose everything just
starts to magically fall into place.
