MMIA: How did you get started in
your business?
DELAYNA: While working as a
nurse consultant, I recognized the
need for health education among
busy women. I initially started selling
health products as a platform to
educate women.
MMIA: Do you ever regret your
decision to become a full-time
entrepreneur?
DELAYNA: No. I don’t regret the
decision, however I would’ve done
things a little different. T he scenario
would’ve looked something like
this: Network with entrepreneurs,
research my area of focus, survey my
ideal clients and work with a mentor
before taking the leap.

of mommy and entrepreneur?
DELAYNA: T his came pretty easy
to my family since we are in each
other’s business (literally)! It was
important that my family understood
my vision and the purpose for starting
my business so that everyone would
be supportive of the commitment.
