“For too long I was just existing,
not living! So, for me becoming
an entrepreneur was life
saving.”
MMIA: Do you ever regret your
decision to become a full-time
entrepreneur?
CHERYL: I never ever regret
the decision to become a full-time
entrepreneur
because
although
there have been plenty of bumps and
bruises on this journey, I believe God
has placed me where I’m supposed
to be at the right time. I often reflect
back and wonder where would I
be today if I had not taken the leap
into entrepreneurship five years ago
- would I still be sitting in a 10x10
cubicle on a job building someone
else’s dream. And, the answer is:
most likely yes. Entrepreneurship is
the thing that breathed life back into
me and made me aware that I had a
greater purpose in life. For too long
I was just existing, not living! So, for
me becoming an entrepreneur was
life saving.
MMIA: How do you balance the roles
of mommy and entrepreneur?
CHERYL: Balance... what’s that?
(laughing). I honestly can’t say I’ve
never actually achieved the word
called Balance. I think it’s something
we are constantly striving for
especially as women and as moms,

and we do the very best we can. But
