I found the information about the agency and
its casting in a social network. I could never
even imagine that a nice appearance which is
far from model standards may be interesting
for commercial purposes. Now I’m engaged
in clothing brands’ advertisement, it gives me
much pleasure and the opportunity to show
everyone how different beauty can be.
Plus size industry for me is a chance to
demonstrate your best. To my mind, the so
called beauty standards will not change at
once, but according to foreign and even Russian
media (keeping in mind some Comedy club’s
translations with plus size models), one can say
that the world is ready to have great changes
more than we expect!

Я попала на кастинг в агентство совершенно
случайно, наткнувшись на пост в социальной
сети. Никогда не думала, что миловидная
внешность за гранью модельных стандартов
может быть интересна с коммерческой точки
зрения. С удовольствием работаю для брендов одежды и рада, что есть возможность показать окружающим, что красота может быть
разной. Смысл индустрии plus size для меня
в том, как можно из себя вытащить лучшее
и показать миру. Не думаю, что стандарты
красоты будут быстро меняться, но, судя по
зарубежному глянцу и даже отечественным
СМИ (вспоминаю последние выпуски Comedy
Club с участием моделей plus size), оказывается, мир больше готов к переменам, чем мы
думаем!
