with the aim of becoming a premier valve company in the
African market. In 1998, AR Controls was approached by
DeZURIK Apco Hilton to represent and distribute their
products on an exclusive basis in Africa. AR Controls is
today the parent company of IncoValve and Controls™ and
Arvalv™, as well as the exclusive distributor and stockist for
DeZURIK and YDF products throughout Africa.
To date, AR Controls is the largest stockists of
stainless-steel knife gate and high-performance butterfly
valve products on the African continent. As a company,
AR Controls continues to grow and is constantly
investing in research and development, skills, and
technological advancement. The company competes
strongly where performance is prioritised. The product
range that AR Controls offers is solution-based rather
than commodity-based.
The company has compensated for more expensive
products by providing clients with products that offer
cheaper total cost over the long term. As a solution-based
company, time is spent on pre-engineering design to fit
custom-designed products which suite specific requirements
