orses are characters. Although I knew that, I had never thought that Miniature horses have even stronger
personalities than their big friends!
But first things first. Hi! My name is Sophie, I’m 19 years
old and live in Lörrach, Germany. After my graduation from
high school last year, I wanted to spend some time in one of
my favorite countries, America. I’ve been riding horses and
enjoying them for 9 years, so I thought a combination of
staying in the US and working with horses would be perfect.
So I joined a program called “Farm Stay“. In this program
the participant lives in a family that owns a farm and helps
out whenever help is needed. Luckily my host family turned
out to be the Rudolph family. Karen Rudolph owns Frost Hill
Farm, an American Miniature horse farm in Hampstead, NH.
Karen is a Miniature horse enthusiast and loves to show her
horses at AMHA shows.
