inspiring and struck a chord with me,”
said Phil Sponsler, the 2017 John G.
Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the
Year Award winner. “Michigan
continues to shuck off the shackles of
the past and become a destination state
for manufacturers. Governor Snyder has
taken the state government from
anti-business to pro-business.”
“It was quite an honor to be recognized
by the Governor tonight,” said Adam
Tabor, the 2017 MFG Emerging Leader.
“It really drove home the point that this
effort is not localized to specific industries
or towns — all of Michigan is driving an
evolution of manufacturing. Governor
Snyder being there, and his inspiring
speech, gives us all mission to work
hard, support our youth and the STEM
curriculum, and carry forward Michigan’s
long-standing manufacturing legacy.”
