Valuable Benefits in Manufacturing

Employee benefits have always been used for recruiting and retaining talent but this is more difficult than ever . Are your benefits differentiating you from other employers ? Are you meeting the needs of your diverse workforce ? Consider these three areas in which you could enhance your benefit package and set yourself apart from other employers .
Engagement
People want to feel like they belong in your company and are part of something bigger than themselves . It isn ’ t just about a pay check anymore . Think of ways you can build a connection for your employees to each other as well as to your community .
• Wellness programs – Use a wellness program to engage people in activities both during and after work . Basketball , walking / running clubs , even Euchre tournaments .
• Volunteerism – Provide time off to volunteer at a charity of their choice or create opportunities for them to jointly volunteer for a companysupported charity . Bring a group to work on a Habitat home or walk for the March of Dimes .
