Dark colours in the kitchen:
Essenza Exotic and Essenza Pure by Martini
Verona, September 2019 - Intense shades such as brown, sophisticated blue and dark grey tones,
the quintessential elegance of black: 2020 is set to witness a triumph of dark colours throughout
the home, and nowhere will this trend be more evident than in the kitchen, with striking shades
packed with character and able to create a confident style that contrasts with or complements the
various areas in the house. Martini’s contemporary furnishing programme offers two kitchens
perfectly in line with this trend: Essenza Exotic and Essenza Pure, both examples of a modern
mood with the accent on luxury design and a close eye on the value of fine Italian craftsmanship.
The Essenza Project, by Arbet Design, is a celebration of the company’s move towards an
atmosphere more closely aligned with the latest furnishing trends, featuring distinctive,
sophisticated, exotic woods.
THE BROWN OF ESSENZA EXOTIC
Essenza Exotic is a triumph of rosewood, with a
strikingly warm, brilliant beauty: a vibrant dark brown
wood that teams attractively with the metal details
and the worktop in Emperador Dark marble.
Technology is skilfully integrated into the design, with
smooth lines framing the spaces and creating a striking
architectural impact. The intense shade of the wall units,
shelves and doors contrasts with the bright white of
the lacquered island with dark marble worktop.
THE BLUE OF ESSENZA PURE
Stainless steel and blue eucalyptus are the key
elements of Essenza Pure, in which the simple rigour of
the design leaves room to highlight the intensity of the
wood and the details. This is a kitchen that makes a huge
style impact, thanks to the modern profiles and
sophisticated materials, offering a new slant on the
exclusive atmosphere of spacious New York loft
apartments. The midnight blue units strike a contrast
with the purity of the steel decorations and worktops.
