This was legendary layering and brilliant blues, a tour de force of youthful and striking design. In Jamie Wei Huang we have that perfect pearl, a designer with a clear style who reinvents it her thoughts with a fresh approach every season.
I was particularly delighted with the deconstruction and the mix of looser fit with some tighter lines. When you take on the challenge of using both form and colour there is a chance that you can end up with a collection that looks like a layer cake hit with a shovel, but this wasn’t, this was mastery of both elements woven together into a magnificent whole.
