Not only are you an accomplished journalist and consultant, you have also written a couple of books, something I am always telling people to do, to write a book to inspire the generations to come, they are a legacy after we are gone. So, which of the books written so far, is the most meaningful to you, and are there any more books coming up soon?

The most meaningful one is the one about Digital Transformation in the newsroom and the inclusion of Mojo. I tried to shared as much as possible. It was like writing a diary of how everything worked after it happened. I tried to give thank you to everyone who was involved.

I’m sure there will be one or two more books in the future but not as yet as it takes a lot of time and dedication. So instead of a book, what I will be doing next is a podcast as I have a lot to share and I believe is about time I did that.

That is great! I will for sure lookout for that podcast. So, what’s next for Pipo?

I will keep on sharing Digital Transformation news in different formats, to keep on learning and discovering about people, to become more relevant in digital, in every single sector that is connected to digital.

I will also be speaking soon, 8th of May, it will be about Fake News and it's for the "Open Society Foundation" (from George Soros)!

I will also be hosting at The Smart City World Expo later in the year. I will be at MojoFest in Ireland and the Global Editors Network Summit in Athens to name a few.

What or who inspires you in life?

That is a difficult one! It’s hard to say!. Everything inspires me in life. People like you inspire me, of course, people with your attitude, people with your way at looking at life inspire me. Entrepreneurs, young people who are changing the world. It inspires me a lot the observation of people. I love to observe people and see the way they interact. I can be at a cafe, just looking at how people interact.

Nature inspires me, the sea, the mountains, reading… people and companies who change the world. I am currently reading a book from the president of Microsoft, Satya Nadella called Hit Refresh which is very inspiring.

It’s hard to just say one or two things, because family and friends inspire me all the time too

Thanks! Much appreciated! and I do too love to observe people, we can learn a lot by doing that. Now, what does Pipo enjoy doing on his spare time?

I love to do everything that I do on my professional time! because I love what I do…

I love to do trial, which is motorcycling in the mountain, I love to go sailing, I like to hike and to spend time with my

motorcycle. Going away from the city to think and relax. And I love watching series!

With all the experience and wisdom you have gathered so far in life, what advice would you give to your younger self?

These questions are harder than I thought! I would say, enjoy every single moment of life, because life is too short and goes too fast.

Stop procrastinating and complaining about life. Be positive, enjoy your friends and have great relationships with your people. Do what you love, that is the most important, no matter what it is
