Scientifically detoxification can contribute towards better protein synthesis, less mucous congestion and an improved immune system. The ability of our body to detoxify is critical importance to overall health.

However detoxing isn’t just a matter of fasting or filling up on juice. There is a process we need to follow in order to get the best results and I put it to the test.

To establish the benefits of detoxification and repopulation of the gut, Atlas Biomed offered me 2 Microbiome Tests, (home test kits) to establish the ability of my bacteria to synthesise vitamins, determine what areas as a flexitarian (vegan with some fish) I needed to improve my diet as well as determine my probiotics and beneficial bacteria level before and after the program.
