Eagle began her career at Tank and Harper’s Bazaar magazines, and worked in PR for British fashion label and retailer Joseph. She made her name in retail as creative director of her eponymous luxury concept store, Alex Eagle Studio, which opened in 2014 blending fashion, lifestyle, elements of a gallery and the warmth of a private home.

Driven by a fascination for timeless objects and fashion that celebrates craftsmanship and design over transient trends, Eagle has filled her Lexington Street store with a curated edit of the best fashion, furniture, art, design, photography, ceramics, rare books and other unique curiosities.

In 2015, Eagle launched her eponymous collection of luxurious modern essentials. Inspired by the simplicity of classic menswear, she designs a line of timeless garments with a focus on fabric, fit, wearability and ease, that work as their own uniform or in harmony with an existing wardrobe.

The collection has borne a series of collaborations with specialist brands and artists including renowned Jermyn Street tailor New & Lingwood, luggage maker Swaine Adeney Brigg, blazer experts Blazè Milano and artist-turned- jewellery-designer Agnes Hay.

Alongside this, Eagle oversees The Store, which opened its flagship space inside Soho House in Berlin in 2014, and its second outpost in Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire the following year.

Her extensive side projects include a seat on the Serpentine Gallery’s Future Contemporaries Committee and work for Women for Women International, hosting the 2016 She Inspires Me Car Boot Sale at the Brewer Street Carpark. In 2016, Eagle was included in the illustrious BoF 500, Business of Fashion’s professional index of the people shaping the global fashion industry.
