MilliOnAir presents the King and Queen of the aesthetic world

Dr Ioannis Liakas and

Vicky Grammatikopoulou

Their clients include  celebrities, top models - and even royalty. Ioannis is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, senior lecturer at Queen Mary’s Medical School and an associate member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine.

Vicky was a teacher trainer and university lecturer before moving into the business side of aesthetics.

Together they are Vie Aesthetics and run leading clinics in Harley Street, Germany and Southend. Every month they will be answering your questions on beauty, aesthetics, skincare and lifestyle.

My face always looks so puffy in the morning. It takes hours for it to get back to normal - is there anything I can do to look fresher when I wake up?

This could be your circulation  getting blocked in the night or an allergic reaction. Make  sure you’re sleeping on a good pillow, such as Tempur, with a  silk pillowslip on your main pillow as it will allow your face and hair to move and breath at night.

Ensure there is moisture in the room with a lavender oil diffuser or a salt lamp next to the bed that will detox the air around you. You should also cleanse your face well before you sleep and make sure you drink plenty of water; try adding a tablespoon of cider vinegar to your water before bed.

Lymphatic drainage massage can also help with puffiness and you can learn how to do this yourself.

Another trick is to splash ice cold water over your face - Hollywood legend Joan Crawford used to do it 20 times each morning. One of my clients swears by it...and if nothing else, it will certainly wake you up!

My 15-year-old daughter Hannah is desperate to have her lips done because she gets teased at school, as they are rather thin. We have tried lip-gloss and lipsticks that claim to plump up the lips up but they don’t seem to work. Is she too young to have her lips filled?

We get lots of enquires from  teenage  girls wanting the current trend in lips, such as the Kylie Jenner look. But 15 is too young and even at 16 - which is the legal age - we tend to turn them away.

I suggest you sit her down and work on her self esteem first. Why not treat her to a professional make-up session, such as those offered by Mac or at Debenhams, or a local beauty salon. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and it would be such a shame if those unkind bullies at school forced her into doing something she doesn’t really need and might regret.

Hanna could try using a white lip-liner to enhance the top lip and a darker pencil to add a 3-D affect on the bottom. Avoid dark c oloured  lipsticks as they can make the lips look  thinner.

Try the new Lip Plumper by Instant Effects - all my clients are raving about it and it really seems to work after only a couple of minutes.

If Hanna is still unhappy, you could promise to treat her to a gentle, natural lip filler when she is 18.
