Vancouver Fashion Week announces dates for

spring/summer 2018

Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) announces details for its 30th consecutive season. The spring/summer 2018 season will take place from the 20th to 25th September in the stunning city of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Last season was a triumph for VFW with media attendees and ensuing coverage from ELLE Canada, CTV, Vogue China, ELLE China, Marie Claire China, Teen Vogue, Vogue Brazil, GQ Brasil, Vogue.co.uk, Elleuk.com, Candid Magazine, Glamour, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Marie Claire, Huffington Post, Fucking Young! and ELLE Mexico.

One of the most forward-thinking fashion weeks on the international circuit, VFW's spring/summer 2018 season looks to welcome a range of new designers from around the world, as well as welcoming back its Canadian runway favourites.

New designers include Charly Thorn (Australia), SETSETSET (South Korea), Choiboko (South Korea), Free & Mezis (South Korea), Oloh (UK), Srishti Kaur (New Zealand), Nahal Shad (USA/Canada) and MRHUA MRSHUA (China). Returning designers include Alex S. Yu (Canada), Evan Clayton (Canada), Katherine Tessier (Canada) and Tieler James (USA).

The shows will be held at the David Lam Hall in downtown Vancouver, where it will open its doors to designers, media, buyers and agents to explore and discover six days of ready-to-wear from around the globe.

Founded by producer, Jamal Abdourahman in 2001, VFW is lauded worldwide as the fastest growing fashion week and the only industry event that actively seeks to showcase international award-winning talent alongside its homegrown designers.
