A BIT OF THIS, A BIT OF THAT The settee from L’Entrepot sets the tone for the master bedroom. Outfitted with plenty of seating, a side table that doubles as a desk and two sinks in the master bath that were crafted from an old French sideboard, the room is elegant yet practical, key for this busy family. Linda picked a furry white fabric for the desk chair to add that bit of unexpected. The Chinese cupboard, which she found while traveling, holds the television and gives the space a bit of history and a great story. The couple wanted it so badly they lived through having it cut in half to make it up the stairs. Fortunately Linda knew an artisan who did the work to perfection. Most of the art throughout the home, including the geometric print above the glass console (above), comes from CSM Art & Frame in Chatham. Looking around, taking in all the beautiful rooms that she and Linda created, Staci is ready for their next project. “I’ve got my eye on a white grass cloth wallpaper for the living room,” she says laughing. “It never ends.” ■ FALL 2016 MILLBURN • SHORT HILLS MAGAZINE 53
