HOME HOMEOWNER STACI BOYARSKY EVERYONE AT THE TABLE Phase two of the renovation involved adding a portico and landscaping. Phase three, and the one they waited 10 long years for, was the kitchen. Designed by J & L Kitchen and Baths in Millburn, it is Staci’s favorite room in the house. “It’s such a bright space,” she says. “I love it.” With Linda’s help, they created the eating area, which is seamless with the overall design. Working from home for an international tax consulting company, Staci’s office has been everywhere from the basement to the hallway. With the renovation, they were able to carve out a home office off the kitchen where she can have privacy, yet be in the thick of things when she needs to be. “I feel so organized, everything has its place,” she says. The mother of three (Barri, 16, Alex, 14, and Gavin) insists on family dinners every night although Mitch, an attorney, can’t always be there. “Even if the kids are fighting or being goofy, it’s our time to catch up on the day.” ➤ FALL 2016 MILLBURN • SHORT HILLS MAGAZINE 51
