THE POWER OF DAIRY
Having a balanced diet, which includes dairy, can help beard growers, says Italian dairy association
round the world, people are reaping the rewards from consuming dairy products.
Whether it’s for milk’s calcium, magnesium
and potassium that helps maintain healthy blood
pressure or its reliable protein and added vitamin D,
combined with calcium, which helps promote strong
muscle, teeth and bones, people are finding different
reasons for drinking more milk.
For Assolatte, the Italian dairy association, the reason why men should turn to dairy is for its amino
acids and vitamins A, B and E, just some of the minerals that help promote hair growth. In fact, Assolatte
lauds dairy as a good way for men to maintain their
beards. That’s according to an article published in the
Dairy Reporter titled “Feed your beard with dairy,”
which suggests dairy products, such as yogurt, cheese,
butter and milk, will feed the body what it needs to
help with hair growth.
The idea dairy can help men grow beards makes sense
when you consider hair is made of a protein called keratin. Assolatte says men need the right amount of amino
acids to help build proteins and keep hair growing. Beard
growers who notice their facial hair growing with brittle or
weak hairs can likely blame it on an amino acid deficiency, and the Italian dairy association knows milk is a good
source of amino acids.
Men also shouldn’t forget about other dairy products.
Butter contains vitamins A and E, which helps repair skin
tissue and promote hair growth, as well as keeps facial hair
feeling softer and hydrated. Cheese and yogurt are also
a good source of B vitamins, which help stimulate hair
growth and strengthen hair follicles.
