Maj. Dan Leard, U.S. Army, is currently serving as an operations officer in the 75th Ranger Regiment. He
holds a BS in history from West Point and a MMAS from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff
College. He is an infantry officer who has held numerous direct leadership positions in combat, most recently as a company commander in Afghanistan in 2011.
