Col. Charles D. Allen, U.S. Army, Retired, is professor of leadership and cultural studies in the Department of
Command, Leadership, and Management at the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania. He holds
a BS from the U.S. Military Academy, an MS from Georgia Tech, an MMAS from the School of Advanced Military
Studies, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
