Here at MoxiWorks, we have such an abundance of signature sayings and mantras that we’ve practically created our own language.

Say goodbye to the days when those basic beige welcome mats were enough to get by — jazzed up mats are officially trending! And for good reason, I might add. The entrance of the home is the first impression potential buyers get of a listing and is therefore your first opportunity to fall-i-fy it. Consider incorporating a door mat that feels unique and inviting this season. Here’s a fun one that’s sure to make an impression. Here’s another option that’s on the more subtle side.

Don’t go full-blown cheesy with your listings’ fall-friendly welcome mats. Avoid mats with phrases like “hey pumpkin” or any not-so-subtle Halloween references.

Incorporating that irresistible, cozy fall vibe into the staging of your listings is essential to help your clients envision your listing as their home in the coming months, but beware — it’s unbelievably easy to overdo it. One moment you’re shopping for fall décor and the next you find yourself showing a home that, frankly, looks like a pumpkin threw up on it.
