A
fter a refreshing Spring full of of new events like the Arts + Music Festival in
Midtown Miami and a recovering local economy remembering last year’s Zika
trials we settle into another beautiful Summer in Miami - a time for locals, by
locals here in the New Miami. We look forward to a collection of upcoming community
based exhibitions in the MMM Pop-Up Art Gallery and connecting the Cult of MMM
in better ways as we develop the official MMM APP. Things are heating up in our city as
is evident by the steamy photography of Frankie Coletto in this issue’s Fashion editorial.
Never has the city’s colorful walls been so vividly displayed as On the Wall through the lens
of Tom Schmuki and we are honored to be able to feature some of the most unique
and vibrat work from Miami-based artists like Monique Lassooij, Ivan Roque, Troy
Simmons, Trek6, Chor Boogie, Paloma Duenas, Kai and Skott Marsi. So pull out those
swim trunks, swim suits and rose cocktails because Summer Lovin’ is here (#NoTravolta).
