lEttER fRoM ouR fouNDER welcome Thank you for joining us at the 2015 MidAtlantic Wine + Food Festival. It’s said that good things happen in threes—and as we celebrate our third year as an independent Festival, I agree. In three years, we’ve hosted 127 events and 48 winemakers and engaged 200 chefs. Most importantly, we have hosted thousands of guests, and shown them the culinary riches that exist here in the MidAtlantic while introducing them to a bounty from afar. In this, our third year, we have worked very hard to create what is indeed a unique Wine + Food Festival in the United States. To the best of my knowledge, we are the only Festival that is this broadly regional in scope. Over these four days, we will have set 20,000 plates and glasses for 33 events and poured more than 3,000 bottles of wine! We are deeply grateful to the President of our Board of Directors, Vance Kershner, without whom this Festival would not have become a reality, as well as the chefs and winemakers who have donated time, talent and in the case of wineries, an extensive amount of product. We are especially thankful to Chip Rossi, Delaware Market President of Bank of America, for everything he has done including his role in getting Bank of America to become our
