Quay Zander
Petroleum Manager Quay Zander oversees the energy department as it pertains to pricing , contracting , dispatching , and servicing the company ’ s customers . Hired May 7 , 2001 , Quay began his career with Mid-County in the agronomy department as a custom applicator . He eventually moved his way into the energy and fuel department . He lives with his wife , Nancy , daughter Rebecca , and son Jacob on their family farm north of Waverly . Quay is a member of St . John ’ s Lutheran Church in Howard Lake and the Sons of the American Legion Post 145 . He is an active HLWW FFA alumnus . Besides taking time out for his family , he is passionate about hunting and fishing .
Melissa Beckmann
Melissa Beckmann is the Holiday Stationstore ’ s assistant manager . She grew up in Wells , a town in southern Minnesota with a population of 2,271 . Melissa moved to Cologne , and is having fun getting to know the area and meeting new people . She has 16 years of management experience , and focuses on providing customers with excellent service .
When she ’ s not working , Melissa enjoys spending time with friends and family , especially her collegeaged daughter . She also works for the Vikings , selling merchandise at home games .
Dusty Kroells
Dusty Kroells works in the energy department at Mid-County . His duties include fuel delivery , service , and sales . Dusty started with Mid-County in April of 2011 . During his busy work days , Dusty spends his time delivering bulk fuels to agricultural , residential , and commercial customers , and maintaining customer equipment . Prior to starting his work at Mid- County , he operated Kroells Oil for 12 years . He lives in Green Isle , and enjoys hunting , fishing , riding ATVs , and barbecuing .
Julie Clemensen
Julie Clemensen works for Mid-County as an administrative assistant and was hired January 23 , 2006 . She earned her associate degree in marketing and business administration , and began her career in that field before moving into office management . Clemensen has 28 years of office and administrative experience . She lives in Cologne with her husband and two sons . Julie loves attending her sons ’ sporting events , reading , singing , and spending time with her family .
